Pilgrimage to Montgomery

Join 904WARD as we take a Pilgrimage to Montgomery

You have received a link to this page because we would like to invite you to take a trip with us to visit the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, AL.

We partner with the Equal Justice Initiative on the Jacksonville Community Remembrance Project (JCRP) to memorialize victims of racial terror lynching and bring about racial healing and reconciliation - you have even helped us in this process.

As part of JCRP, in 2019, we started sponsoring pilgrimages to Montgomery, AL, to create a gracious space for learning, grieving, healing, and action.

We believe it is important to understand history to propel us forward into the future. This is truly impactful work that will resonate throughout our work in Jacksonville, and we'd love to have you take this journey with us

The trip includes transportation to and from Montgomery, a two-night stay in the Staybridge Suites hotel in downtown Montgomery, and entrance fees to the Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Meals will be the responsibility of attendees; the hotel rooms are kitchen suites if you would like to bring food to prepare.

Space is limited, and we will fill the trip on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each trip will also have a required pre-travel gathering (virtually) on the Sunday afternoon before your scheduled trip.  If you want to attend, please purchase your tickets below.
